My Passion: One of my passions is Home Improvement TV. I love to watch various shows to learn how to do things and what is trending out there. It helps me to relate when our manufacturers introduce new products. I want to be the Champion of that product and learn as much as I can. I am a tools person. Provide me with the tools to do my job and I can shine. I am very friendly and I love to laugh. I am known to have a warped sense of humor. Our jobs can be tough and stress-full at times but a little laughter and a kind word will go a long way. We just all need to remember that the person on the receiving end of our conversations or e-mails could be going through something. It takes very little effort to be kind and welcoming. Sometimes I might insert a Glinda the Good Witch or Endora image in my response when I am successful in taking care of an issue.

My Role: I was initially hired on to perform more operational duties. It was due to my 17 years of experience working for a major lighting manufacturer in Chicago that AGS remembered me and my performance. AGS was the factory rep at that time. From there I wanted to learn more about our other product lines so I could assist with inbound calls to back up the Inside Sales team. I was eventually given the Lighting Line and other product lines soon followed. Coming from manufacturing background helps me to understand production lead times and line set up. It helps me to be more effective in communicating what is put into a lead time. My Accounting and Technical background help me to communicate more efficiently with our factories.

Career Background: I have over 20 years of experience in the Lighting Industry having worked for a major lighting manufacturer in my home town of Chicago and I have been with AGS since 2002.

Personal Side: My Husband Rick and I are committed Chicago Cubs, Bears and Bulls fans. I am an Ohio State fan by marriage. Since my husband is disabled we enjoy watching many games on TV together. Our fur-babies are named Dolly and Trixie.
