My Role
I’ve always enjoyed solving problems. Honestly, that’s true both professionally and personally.
The more challenging the problem, the more rewarding it is when you find a solution that works. That’s a big part of how I approach my role at AGS. If one of our team members or partners has a challenge they need help working through, I want to be the person they can call. I’ll dig in, ask questions, look at the situation from different angles and work toward a solution that makes sense for everyone.
I’ve never been more excited about the electrical industry. There is so much opportunity in this market, and I’m looking forward to putting my experience to work for our AGS partners while continuing to learn from the people around me.
My Career
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University in 2010 and joined Eaton Corporation through its Leadership Development Program.
From there, my career took me through just about every side of the electrical business. I started as an Outside Sales Engineer in Eaton’s Phoenix District office, working with residential, commercial and project construction markets. After five years working with distributors and contractors, I moved to Houston in 2015 as a Project Sales Manager.
In Houston, I led the projects team across the Gulf region and worked on everything from large project negotiations and pricing strategy to technical support, value engineering, risk analysis and, of course, closing the order. While there, I also earned my MBA from the University of Houston.
I then moved to Eaton’s factory in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where I served as Product Line Sales Manager for Low Voltage Motor Control Centers. I was responsible for the product line’s sales, pricing, profitability and market share.
After three years in North Carolina, I had the opportunity to head back to Arizona in 2022 as Area Sales Manager for Eaton’s Commercial & Industrial Markets across Arizona and Las Vegas.
Today, I bring that experience to AGS, where I get to work with our partners, solve problems and help find opportunities to move the business forward.
When I’m not being Principal, VP Sales
I’m married to my beautiful and talented wife, Haley, and we’re blessed with our daughter, Madison, or Madi as we call her.
Madi keeps us on our toes, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love showing her new things, taking her places and watching her make just about everyone she meets smile.
We’re big on travel, too. Our most recent adventure took us to Spain and Portugal. We also enjoy sporting events, cooking and finding a new happy hour spot to check out.
We’re definitely dog people. We foster dogs, and Haley is very involved with local dog rescues. So there’s a pretty good chance there’s a dog somewhere nearby, even if it isn’t technically ours. When I’m looking for a little time outside, you’ll find me fishing, especially deep-sea or fly fishing, or just enjoying the outdoors. And if someone offers me a chance to play golf, I’m probably going to take it.
