My Passion 

It may sound funny, but I am truly passionate about lighting. I can’t walk into a restaurant, go shopping or visit a retail space without looking up and noticing the lighting. It’s just something I naturally pay attention to.

I’m also passionate about helping my customers succeed. I am persistent when it comes to finding the right solutions, the best value and products that meet their schedules and needs. I genuinely care about each of my customers and their success. When I can help a customer succeed, I consider that a success for me, too.

My Role 

My official title is Contractor Sales, but I think of my role as much more than that. I see myself as a customer advocate and resource.

I work to help my customers put together complete lighting and controls packages that meet project specifications, fit their budgets and arrive when they need them. There is a lot of satisfaction in knowing that I helped make a project come together and made someone’s job a little easier along the way.

My Career

I have spent more than 30 years in the lighting industry, working with the design and construction communities throughout Arizona and the Southwest.

I began my career with the Norman Brim Company and have since worked with several manufacturers’ representatives in Arizona. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the Arizona and Southwest marketplace and have had the opportunity to stay on top of the many new lighting technologies and controls shaping our industry.

After three decades in the business, I still enjoy learning about what’s new and finding the right solution for each project.

When I’m not working with Lighting & Controls

My adult daughter, Hannah, means the world to me. We’ve been through a lot together over the years, and we’ve learned from each other, supported each other and found strength in each other along the way.

I also have a deep love for animals and pretty much all living things. I’ve fostered cats, dogs and even a rabbit over the years. It’s not unusual for someone in the industry to call me when they come across an animal that needs some help. I’ve also been involved with Arizona’s TNR program, helping care for and protect community cats.

And then there’s my husband, whom I married in 2020, right in the middle of the COVID year. We’re pretty sure we had the best wedding of 2020. We had a great time celebrating our marriage, and we’re both excited about whatever comes next.
