My Passion 

I’m passionate about building a happy, healthy family and creating a strong future for the people I care about. I bring that same mindset to work.

I want to be a great teammate and someone the people around me can count on. At AGS, that means doing my part to help our team deliver the right solutions at the right time and making sure our customers get the support they need.

I enjoy being part of a team where everyone brings something different to the table and where we’re all working toward the same goal.

My Role 

As a Channel Manager, I work closely with professional electrical distributors and their end-user customers throughout the lighting segment.

I help distributors manage and grow their lighting category while also working with commercial end users to find lighting solutions that make sense for their facilities. That can mean looking at visual performance, maintenance needs, energy use or simply finding a solution that works better for the people using the space every day.

After spending decades in the lighting industry, I enjoy being able to take what I’ve learned and put it to work helping people make good decisions.

My Career

I started my career in the electrical industry in January 1989, right after earning my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Arizona State University.

I began with WESCO Distribution, working as a Support Specialist and Account Representative. In 1999, I moved into a Lighting Quotations Specialist role with Presco, a General Electric-owned distributor.

In 2000, I joined Philips Lighting as an Account Manager, which turned into a 21-year chapter of my career. During that time, I supported key distribution partners throughout the entire process, from specifications through the sale. I also earned my Lighting Certification and had the opportunity to put that knowledge to work in real-world lighting applications.

In 2022, I joined AGS, where I continue to support Philips Lighting products and Arizona distribution while also working with customers and partners in Las Vegas, New Mexico and El Paso.

After more than three decades in the industry, I still enjoy the work, the people and the opportunity to keep learning.

When I’m not being a Channel Manager 

I’ve been married to my wonderful wife, Kelly, for 23 years, and we’re proud parents of four great kids.

With four children, life tends to stay pretty busy, and that’s exactly what makes it fun. They keep us moving, keep us laughing and definitely keep things interesting.

For me, family is what it’s all about. Whether we’re all together for something special or just enjoying an ordinary day, those are the moments I value most.
